Martinez's new Southern Star Series guitars combine traditional styling with modern production techniques to create a guitar that is as visually stunning as it is sonically beautiful.
The MPC-6C-NST features a solid Mahogany top with Mahogany back and sides, in a classic dreadnought cutaway shape. The solid Mahogany top will only improve with age as it is broken in. The neck is mahogany, and the fingerboard and bridge are made of TECH wood, which is a composite with great warp resistance.
This guitar comes fitted with Martinez's own Cadic preamp, which features a built-in chromatic tuner. Preamp controls include a 3-band slider EQ with Treble, Mid and Bass controls; Bright, Mid Frequency and Notch control; and Phase switch.
Whether playing acoustically or amplified, the MPC-6C-NST produces a distinctive warm tone with powerful projection; it's truly a fantastic guitar for the price. The eye-catching Brown Sunburst Satin finish completes the package.
This model, as with all guitars in the Southern Star range, is completed with an exclusive deluxe ivory hard case, taking you from your living room to gigs on the road without a hitch!
