About music tuition at Living Music...
Learn Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Piano, Vocals/Singing, Harmonica, Flute, Ukulele, Violin & Music Theory.
Our lessons are a weekly, half an hour, one-on-one lesson with an experienced, professional teacher. All ages and abilities are welcome. Our teachers can teach a range of styles.
Learn at your own pace! Lessons are tailored to suit each individual student.
Lessons are run during school terms. Mid-term enrolments are welcome. Our teachers are fully accredited and have valid Working with Children checks.
Cost & Payment:
$40.00 (including GST) per half hour lesson one on one.
Students are invoiced for the whole term of lessons (unless starting mid term). Invoices are to be paid in full within 30 days. Unfortunately we cannot accept week-by-week payments.
Invoices are issued by EMAIL ONLY. Students are not charged when their lesson falls on a public holiday so no catch-up lessons are provided for public holidays.
Payments can be made instore, over the phone or by direct debit.
Absences & Catch Up Lessons:
Living Music offers school holiday catch-up lessons to students who notify Living Music admin of an absence with 24hrs notice. Please note; Living Music admin must be notified, not your teacher.
Catch-up lessons are organised at the end of each term. Students are entitled to a maximum of TWO catch-up lessons per term.
Missed catch-up lessons cannot be refunded, credited or rolled over to the following term. If students cannot attend their catch-up lessons, these lessons are forfeited. Lessons are also forfeited if your account hasn't been paid.
As we stick to a tight schedule, if you are late for your lesson, your lesson will still have to finish at the original scheduled time.
If your teacher is ill or away, either a replacement teacher will teach you that day or a catch-up lesson will be granted to you. You will also be sent an email or called in advance if this is the case.
Student Benefits:
Living Music's students receive up to 20% off all music equipment and 10% off all books purchased instore.
Students also receive a discount on instrument servicing instore. Our technicians recommend having your stringed instrument (ie guitar, ukulele) serviced and restrung every four to six months to keep it in optimal playing condition.
Examinations:
Living Music does not require students to undertake exams, however all of our teachers are able to teach AMEB, ANZCA or VCE syllabuses if requested.

Allergies:
Living Music is mindful of students with food allergies and we ask that there are no nuts of any kind (including peanut butter) brought into the premises.
