IMPORTANT: Notice Regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

RSS
In light of the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation, the team and teachers at Living Music would like to assure our students that we are implementing safe hygiene practices both in store and during lessons. We are also continually monitoring the situation as it develops.

All music lessons are going ahead as normal at this stage.

However, if you or a member of your family have recently travelled overseas or experience flu like symptoms, please do not attend your music lesson. Please remember to contact us before 12pm on the day of your lesson if you are unable to attend; if in doubt, please err on the side of caution and call in absent rather than notifying us too late.

The most common symptoms reported include:
  • Fever
  • Breathing difficulties such as breathlessness
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Fatigue or tiredness
(Self assessment for risk of coronavirus - pdf)

We also ask that all students and families follow the Victorian State Government's advice to reduce the risk of coronavirus:
  • If you are ill, stay at home. If you think you need medical attention, phone your GP or the coronavirus hotline first and they’ll tell you what to do.
  • Practise good hand hygiene – wash your hands regularly. It really does make a difference. And employ good cough etiquette by coughing into your elbow.
  • Other measures should include not touching your face, and instead of your fingers, using your knuckle, a pen or an ID card to activate lift buttons.
  • Avoid shaking hands!
Living Music will continue to monitor the situation as it develops and will send out any further updates if required. Please don't hesitate to contact our team if you have any questions or concerns.
